Biography

After graduating from the United States Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, New York in 1983 with a B. S. in each Marine Engineering and Marine Transportation, 1983, earning Captain’s Award Honors and licenses as Third Assistant Engineer (Steam & Diesel) and Third Mate (Unlimited Tonnage), James C. Maloney attended the University of Miami School of Law in Coral Gables, Florida, earning his J. D. in 1987. Mr. Maloney worked at several law firms in New York City, before forming Parker & Maloney with Jonathan H. Parker in 1991. Mr. Maloney has experience in various types of civil litigation, labor law liability, product liability (DES Drug Cases), auto and general liability. He has successfully tried numerous cases.

Mr. Maloney is also an entrepreneur who has established several companies of his own, most notably, kennels for boarding dogs and cats, Elizabeth Ann Kennels in Stirling and East Brunswick, New Jersey.

Mr. Maloney is certified in USCG Radar, Welding, and a member of the Society of Naval Architects & Marine Engineers, Masters, Mates & Pilots, Maritime Bar Association, New York and New Jersey Chapters of the USMMA Alumni Association.

James C. Maloney resides in Summit, New Jersey, and handles and supervises all Personal Injury matters for Parker & Maloney in both New York, New Jersey and Florida.
